I continue to hear from people who have been found themselves on the blunt end of this administrative machine, and who keep me informed of the various initatives – people are forming groups, writing letters, giving evidence to select committees. I have been asked to encourage anyone who has been treated unfairly to write to their MP. There have been many such letters, and they do have an effect.
